The 5th Tenant

The 5th Tenant is a short, first-person psychological survival horror game.

The story follows Jack, a college student looking for an affordable, quiet place on the outskirts of town to study for his final exams. He rents a cozy two-story cottage in the peaceful Ironwood neighborhood. The owner, a nice but slightly odd old man named Arthur, hands over the keys and leaves for the city for a couple of days, leaving Jack completely alone.

What starts as a mundane chore—simply cleaning up the yard and settling in—quickly turns into a nightmare. As soon as Jack goes to sleep, he is awoken in pitch darkness by the chilling sound of the front door swinging open. The lights are dead, and a terrifying creature known as the Bear-Monster is now stalking the first floor. Jack must survive a tense, one-minute game of cat-and-mouse in the dark before time runs out.
